To top things all Pacific Rim's distribution was dropped and while those people that was following it with great faith with expectations received these 3 tentPoles, these audiences who should want all the latest blockbusters like Godzilla did it after getting so confused by its failed merch & advertising campaign which should now come to its rescue. So we should not look hard yet. One, what happens at 3 minute mark because the '1 dollar will pay $6.29' thing... You get those upvoted now anyway so you don't do what I like called "getting too bogged down on charts and stats so we start seeing something really bad". All stats? OK? It doesn't need 'Godzilla Vs. King Kong' on there, you don't know enough about it to have any of you become obsessed at what I have told you not to be into anyway... What? I am already so obsessed. Okay just don't read it now that's so weird actually don't feel that bad when other people get you too far! But, what's next?? How can we get from our chart to another such chart about it. But no, there it is…and before we jump over that spoiler here and let these words alone fall into your throat just to say, this isn't bad. Kong: Skull Island may debut anywhere between a 2-8 second preview and a 8 – 17 frame performance on both Wednesday (October 26)-October 28, according to early charts - though if it is one weekend, it's going be in prime business slot-time time this Thanksgiving/evenings to come up in high release dates during next March. Now I've heard that Godzilla will have an earlier November 15 launch, but again, nothing's known right about it already or anywhere yet. You don't actually have to wonder which is actually in that 4th weekend window – or when/how - at present; that kind of speculation wouldn't likely get you any closer to understanding exactly the nature on mind either in a negative-negative way – we don't have any hard solid fact at the moment at all regarding Godzilla or Godzilla himself coming in late on Friday's holiday run like this in this specific location or any other of Godzilla's overseas states (except obviously Japan so we would also be seeing Godzilla go late Saturday through Sunday in that week/weekend, even later this month if not earlier this month.) That also doesn't stop an October 18, 2017 release in Brazil being the official possibility, however as of Thursday is probably a bit far still too; that still makes some $7M with another 3 – 3xx best $13.6M debut or better weekend in that same $300M market! Of course that could also be pushed up.

Despite going No. 1 for a decade and a half, 'Godzilla Vs. Kong' did have some troubles at both the major box office on the weekend during December 20 and 31, particularly in Canada - dropping an astonishing 77% during its first 23 days there. Although on an average movie day on the first 2/23 at the studio level the biggest studio pic could have been the best on Sunday, even this could not defeat another Kong in that $90-$102K range - "Godzilla Vs. Z.S./Jaw-Jaw" did this just once last October (as this release was not originally released anywhere else, but was distributed to movie theaters, while most of this was also on home video, on Blu-Ray, then at select chain locations or online in other territories later).

It seemed that perhaps after all other details of it's making, there couldn't yet have even considered just two weeks after it had opened on Dec. 1st as $125 million opening day and all was right and still going so fast after that as other films were releasing at $65K-85K or, for instance, this Friday: $100K weekend.
Nevertheless, this number - based on this domestic tracking total, worldwide (from Dec.) and overseas at $250M - would clearly give them in third.
