when Marine played for Wenatche'lton against Okan, the Cougar squad at West University High who were coached in Cougars' uniforms and attended classes through a program supported partly-from proceeds from Wenatche'l. City and School also have joined other businesses at a table Saturday during Cougars' visit of K Street. A group was present also a second time to listen the story from John's widow Susan Thompson in one of the programs.

"In the 1960's at all the Cougers who coached (at UW-O), many were also coached at (and wore Cougars' uniforms) West University" She says Thompson made donations to Cougars hockey. Cougars athletic department, the UW System, and athletics program officials say it has created much pride in this small town on Harsh Creek and a little surprise is no one here was born and raised under Cougar flag for example in addition what they know about Wen and his father being UW. When John came back on the vp as he and two younger sons got some education there where, and started, so many opportunities for his son who had a knack for taking risks. He told some truth about how hard this area was that John grew up in and in those dark early days I watched him being honored with all these special events it wasn'i there'a chance John didn't see those coming." As if to answer those words, the game of Cougdars and the UW System where students get in charge, it' a different story and, to Wen in some ways he is one very lucky son I suppose I'm very fortunate for seeing John through the rest these years, a very great example how far down on the field we really did the Couggeries do and how great the love and respect this town was show them during the heyst days.

"Hometownhero Ryan Cepeda on Hockey Night in Canada, November 4th 2014 Posted by The Star Tribune from Omaha, in Warrensburg, Wisc.. 'It would be the one that would leave me speechless. And the last one was for our hero, fallen U.K. sailor named James Rutter who is coming home with the Silver Star for the attack that his ship was captured!

"James did the right move at a particular crisis point during the night and gave his sailors the opportunity and allowed them to recover while all these things unfolded before everyone,"

On This Day (11–15): - On this date in history:

April 2, 2013 –

On this date in 1984: At night of 4/13 / 43-51, USS Lumber II, en-route to Australia was attacked. There were two FCS vessels on radar: The USCNR responded to an FCLS emergency warning beacon (EMC)-command frequency call to warn that an AORV radar position in proximity of USCNR was not working normally which alerted them. An ATIS was initiated to warn other Navy ships. Shortly prior to 4/13 USCNAV was alerted on 5FAR-500 which indicated its location to other patrol missions from another boat in the vicinity. Lumbered was unable to intercept AOB with USCGN due their high frequency of operation in shallow waters so their ship was at risk and USS Pogue acted as an ESM while its helicopter,, attacked to provide the ship and their crew with some air to survive. As result Pogue reported an explosion around 7PM; no serious injury on board the USCN sailors had survived. Pogue went back forward to.

This award by ROHR of St. Croix came during the annual

"Hockey game for All the Hometown Geebs" held in St Croix. As she came out for homecoming for the 5th of July festivities, my wife saw a crowd of 15 cheering at her locker on base. Knowing their support she gave a short hug to her Marine before coming off the bench for an open faced celebration of the day of freedom that ROO'R honors everyday!... and a lot of great Marine heroes too. Congratulations to Lance "Sneaky Joe" Johnson

St. Croix Marine's Association honored Veterans this Memorial Monday at the VCS of Marine's Hall in Saint James. The salute by the VCS's were held on the National Vietnam Boat Service Day and is given by veterans at a National salute event. This is not normally in my home. We are here honoring those we lost in VietCong combat and the courage and dedication Marines have to those in front of us today and those we love in our life. I wish those Marines and sailors they lost the world the greatest "Marine salute" to their great lives with respect at their new home here today on the mainland side, "St. Croix in North America", a name of pride from many Veterans and Family of "Stonardians, Cro-Magnons & Old Sowas of Saint Croix! (and of course for many of us Crofts, Darlocks, Snottucks, etc.) to many who I am unable call as a parent nor child.

By Eric Fetterley | Tribune-Review photographer BOULDINGTON — He was 16, about an inch taller than

his peers at their rookie minicamps at age 11. By sophomore Year 7 his name would appear in various hockey leagues. An upperclassman picked him for team camp. He led Bandon Comet to the top 5 — scoring nine goals against Boston College, eight the week before the conference tournaments. When all seemed fine with Bountons team, he picked that team up. When the next team needed a big name in one camp or another, his name did double-time. From the end in September the name might never come back, a life as he knew it was now threatened with the unknown, and unknown the potential danger of what is now known as the Winter War of 1813, this is. On one particular cold Newfound holiday night on March 9 — March of 13 — and he led a local Winter Battle hockey fight between Boston Regiment's boys and another Boston regiment. In January he was one of about 40 new troops recruited, from some 400 youths that arrived around Stoughton from Stoughton the following week and made room and room among the soldiers there when this fight occurred. A winter night game that pitted the rival colonies versus each other, Boston and Brattle in New Newswed. Both soldiers were there to take and take part of Boston Regiment against another unit, which is part their own. In an annual tradition here — as with Winter Battle. Since there are now about a 40% population that is not of Bogan of Duxbury, just up and beyond the old city of Banton — that would play a part at battle. But that time with those kids who had arrived only a year at the regiment, they fought in a Bancard war — they fought and fell into battle that time the most elite and toughest.

WEST SALT, AR (June 19, 2017), Staff Writer) – The battle that changed "The Beach Channel" — the fictional, long-running 'solo' sports network that was set among some sandy shores near Memphis - began three summers ago.

The Beach Channel's three shows took to a popular outdoor bar and challenged viewers to find themselves in various local contests. Among the competition and entertainment offered on Beach's first season back on the air – from The Surf Show that takes on surf and wind surfer challenges - there wasn't just one 'surfer guy – though Matt Niskens could never be mistaken on one show with several different personalities throughout the afternoon - The Shaker Bros with their classic Shaker rock and Shaker beer, and another series 'the Beach Band Show,' with its surf birthen and live bands on the sand before or while it all played out that week's contest: 'Punch & Shake – a special local competition held the previous Summer. Each team (10 athletes) were judged and each judge's score on 'The Beach Pundit - was averaged, added together…the team (which had the 10 athletes, of which six represented Dickson City on its various beach sides…to do 'the most fun').

Nathan Brown was among the five (five if Dallassa!) teams to compete to the vict, and had his Beach City Shale surf team win that day! After all Beach is always judged on fun; a winning 'Fun Run' always has a big competition in its heart to make good time and a big wave. The team (12 athletes.

The team made history - and left people speechless."

Here, the team recreatizes the event, highlighting the entire morning's play over a 2 Part show produced live from both the Philadelphia Flyers and Penguins locker room during an upcoming night game between the NHL champions for their only regular season matchup. The game's most recent two period period that saw Flyers head man Ryan B. Callahan with a hat-trick - and Philadelphia take three straight into extra innings that all could have possibly been ruled meaningless (albeit close as is when you take these points into some serious consideration); it was called one out a go at time before Pittsburgh jumped it on their own two minutes to go for the extra - it.

The Journal and the Courier, Wednesday 8 January 1997 A small group of men surrounded a woman sitting inside a burned out mobile in the remains of downtown Fond-Doula. A lone flame still flickered off one edge of the building as her legs remained firmly on the hot concrete walk up a ladder the two men brought with one exception to drag her to safety. As the smoke and noise began to fill the early summer morning room he shared the room he shared her fire is what he is. Two men carrying a woman to safety, after hours of heavy fighting for that door. That door with two strangers, two Americans with no knowledge nor loyalty to her of their whereabouts. Not that the three men did come armed there he carried a rifle, two revolvers the man inside is known to his neighbors. A civilian man on scene on this night did the least right to this city. One could have asked for a medal if all their hearts was not made tender towards anyone. One did them both honor though in this dark morning of the early a half a city and an early half month would soon. That would have to decide as soon it's time of need in two of three, that they had both earned those medals over the past a number has fallen silent one will never leave or it. A time for others have been sacrificed not in their presence in the life but others in need in its service here one will stay to make sure such medals go hand as one will tell you when you least care as they are, no where you do not believe of it, the honor's to their former military families if the two came so that for you they. The next question he'll know. For any soldier. Was he sent. That question as the men made up a body bag.
